Auto Electrician

Our continued growth has created the need for an experienced and qualified Auto Electrician. This role will work closely with the operations team to ensure we are constantly adapting, remaining innovative in the industry, and most importantly, delivering quality products that exceed our customer’s expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and install complete wiring harnesses
  • Control panel installation
  • Diagnostics and repairs
  • Configure instrumentation
  • Installing and commissioning a diverse range of products
  • Understanding and implementing customer requirements
  • Create documentation for harness plans and electrical schematics
  • Fault finding with or without the help of electrical schematics
  • Carry out inspections and process paperwork prior to delivery

Key Requirements

  • Trade qualified
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
  • Experience in assessing and scoping required parts
  • Current and valid C class driver’s license
  • Proven electrical connect/disconnect experience
  • Forklift licence desirable

Industrial Designer

Our continued growth has created the need for an experienced and established Industrial Designer (Inventor).

This role works closely with both sales and production teams to understand design briefs and create solutions that are suitable for effective manufacture that result in satisfied, repeat customers.

The successful candidate will hold Industrial Design and Development qualifications and be able to demonstrate how they have successfully deployed these skills in a similar business over a period of years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consult effectively with the sales and production teams in relation to design requirements and effectively resolve design concerns to meet agreed outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to resolve any product faults or manufacturing concerns relating to the design and ensure these are revised and closed out in a timely manner
  • Provide detailed and accurate feedback to sales and production teams so budgets and timelines can be agreed and achieved
  • Ensure concepts are closely aligned to requirements through the production of detailed sketches, blue-prints, renderings and sample designs
  • Accurately test product designs using models, prototypes, specialist computer software and computer-aided design technology

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in parametric 3d modelling – experience with Inventor highly desirable
  • Experience with any of following software highly desirable – Solidworks, Solid Edge, NX or Fusion
  • Experience with parametric sheet metal design techniques – not essential but preferred
  • Experience with programmatic frame design techniques
  • Exposure to current generation sheet metal tooling
  • Exposure to current generation member processing machine tooling
  • Ability to think mathematically and logically
  • Ability to detail from a manufacturing and fabricating perspective
  • Strong understanding of item and variable relationship hierarchy
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Innovative and detail orientated
  • Willingness to work collaboratively in a high-performing team environment
  • Highly organised
